PURPOSE
Piezoelectric Teaching Aids are useful for students in Mechatronics and Precision Actuators enabling them to get acquainted with the application of direct and inverse piezoeffect for precision actuators.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Piezoelectric Teaching Aids cover three methods of transforming high frequency multi-component resonant oscillations into continuous or start-stop motion. Nine models are presented; they illustrate the specifics of actuators with 1, 2 or 3 degrees-of-freedom and cover both linear, rotational and multi- degree-of-freedom piezoelectric actuators.
